Accessibility Statement
BFOOD works to make this site accessible to people with disabilities, out of a belief that everyone deserves equal, dignified, comfortable and independent access, and a wish to let the widest possible range of users use the site.
Accessibility level
The site was rebuilt and is under continuous adaptation to the Israeli Standard IS 5568 for web content accessibility, at level AA, based on the international WCAG 2.1 guidelines. We keep working to improve accessibility on an ongoing basis.
Accessibility features active on this site
- Light/dark display mode: switch between a light and dark theme using the accessibility button at the top of the page, according to your sensitivity to light or contrast.
- Skip to content link: pressing Tab on page entry lets you skip straight to the main content, without going through every navigation item.
- Full keyboard navigation: all menus, forms and action buttons are accessible without a mouse.
- Image alt text: content images on the site have descriptive alt text for screen readers.
- Correct directionality: the site is shown right-to-left (RTL) in Hebrew and left-to-right (LTR) in English, according to the display language.
- Color contrast: text and background colors were chosen to keep readable contrast in dark mode as well.
Known limitations
Some content on the site (such as downloadable files) was carried over from a previous content system and may not yet be fully accessible. We keep testing and improving the site's accessibility, and welcome reports of any issue you encounter.
